BAND HISTORY: Hailing from the capital of major boredom, Disobey started around 2001 as a bunch of total autodidacts. Always caught in the middle between punk and hardcore, they took the best of both worlds, combined speed with mosh, put in some melody and added a HUGE dose of humor (since we're all gonna die, why not have fun 'til then?). Over the years the musical style didn't change much but got a little more structured and moved a little bit towards hardcore lately, as you can hear while comparing their first album "Wrong Turns Don't Count" and their second effort "Got The Fever". Always on the lookout for next circlepit they played lots of shows with bands like Biohazard, AYS, By The Grace Of God, Killin' It, Let's Grow and Anchor. In 2011 it was time for a new album. "Internal Affairs" is the latest approach to the tried and tested Disobey sound, with some thrash influences and a little less overall speed. But it doesn't matter how much has changed over the years, these guys are in for the fun of it and definitively try NOT to be the next big thing.
